1. What is the dress code?

Business Casual or "Smart" Casual Attire.
Jackets are not required, though many people do wear them.
Jeans are permitted as long as they are neat. Baseball caps are not permitted.

2. Do you have a liquor license?

Yes, we have a full bar with a full wine list.

3. Do you charge a music cover?

No, unless otherwise noted for a Special Event.
Usually, there is no cover charge and the music is complimentary.
There are simply food and drink minimums, unless otherwise noted,
ranging from $15 to $35 per person (not including tax and tip).

4. I see you have two seatings on Fridays and Saturday nights: 6:30 & 8:45. How does this work?

There are 2 dinner show/seatings on these evenings.
You select one of the two seatings and enjoy dinner while you enjoy the music.
You may move to the bar, space permitting, after the first seating if you wish to continue to enjoy the music.
There is usually a $25 per person food and drink minimum on Friday nights
and a $35 per person food and drink minimum (not including tax and gratuity) on Saturday nights, unless otherwise noted.
 

5. Do I need a reservation?

Yes, we strongly recommend reservations.  Please note:  we take reservations by phone only (Tel. 973.822.2899), not by email.

6. What credit cards do you accept?

All major: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover.

Yes, we have a private room with fireplace and bar which is perfect for corporate functions and special occasions.

6. Do you have gift certificates?

Yes, we have gift certificates available in any denomination.
We can also create special gift packages bundled with gift certificates, "Live at Shanghai Jazz" CDs" and T-shirts and other goodies.

7. Do you have birthday cakes?

                    We do a wonderful birthday sampler, featuring our signature desserts served on an impressive
                    platter with sparkling candles. You may reserve one at by telling us at time of reservation or the the               host or server when you arrive.  
               
8.  What days are you open?

We are open every day except Monday.
