Nilson Matta is a Brazilian born bassist, founding member of Trio da Paz, composer, and touring and recording artist. He has played with amazing musicians like Luis Bonfa, Claudio Roditi, Paquito D’Rivera, Slide Hampton and many more. Nilson is a frequent side man in various bands here at Shanghai Jazz and we always love the groups he leads. This evening will feature amazingly talented musicians including: Marcello Pelliteri on drums, John Snauwaert on saxophone, and Helio Alves on piano! This promises to be a great night with plenty of festive tunes intertwines with Latin rhythms and, of course, the best cocktails in Morris County and fantastic Asian cuisine.
