Big Funk! brings an outrageous, raucous, fun, and, yes, FUNKY celebration for the New Year! Co-Led by celebrated saxophonist, Don Braden and drummer Karl Latham. Don Braden toured with The Harper Brothers, Lonnie Smith, Wynton Marsalis, The Mingus Band, and many others. He has recorded nearly 20 albums (most recently the acclaimed, Earth Wind and Wonder cd)! Karl Latham is an internationally recognized drummer and has performed with amazing artists like: Slide Hampton, Edgar Winter, Mark Egan, The Shirelles, Tomoko Ohno, Jerry Vivino and many more. He is one of the most in-demand drummers in the world and an incredible entertainer.

Big Funk! never disappoints. Touted as a “Grove / Funk / Soul journey” and “ a dream band” —both for the band members and audience members! Everywhere they perform here, crowds are on their feet!

No better way or place to celebrate the New Year than our dining room enjoying a great prix fixe menu at one of two seatings, featuring: Dim Sum Appetizer Plate followed by a choice of: Fillet Mignon with bok choy and mushrooms - 3 Chili Chicken with broccoli - Ginger-Scallion Prawns with asparagus, exotic mushroom pad thai with asian greens, Beijing duck ($9 supplement), champagne flounder, . All followed by our special dessert sampling plate!

The 9:00 seating will also feature wok seared ginger-scallion lobster. Two sets of music and a champagne toast to ring in the New Year!
