Matt King is one of the most exciting pianists in jazz today. He has toured and/or recorded with eRufus Reid, Benny Golson, Billy Hart, Dave Stryker, Vic Juris, Joe Morello, and Charles McPherson, Nilson Matta,Claudio Roditi, Leny Andrade, and Claudia Villela and he has toured extensively with jazz-rock group Blood Sweat & Tears. His performance at Shanghai Jazz in July to celebrate his newest cd, Monk in Brazil left our audience on its feet, cheering and begging him not to leave the piano.
