John Lee, current leader of the Dizzy Gillespie All Star Big Band and long time bassist for Dizzy himself, leads a tremendous quartet this Saturday night! Joined by three time Gramm Nominee Diego Urcola. Diego is a long standing member of Paquito D’Rivera’s band and has also played with the legendary Jimmy Heath, Wynton Marsalis and many others. Pianist, composer, arranger, Alex Collins will take theh keys, and, on drums is Grammy Nominee, Gerry Gibbs who has also performed and recorded with a litany of legendary musicians including: Wynton Marsalis, McCoy Tyner, Alice Coltrane, James Moody, Joe Henderson, Parliament Funkadelics and too many to name!
