Dan Levinson Celebrates Benny Goodman!

Clarinetist Dan Levinson, world-renowned pianist Mark Shane and acclaimed drummer Paul Wells celebrate the 81st anniversary of Benny Goodman's famous 1938 Carnegie Hall jazz concert with an evening of music played by Goodman's trio and quartet.

A true virtuoso with a clarinet, Dan Levinson plays with both Vince Giordano and Leon Redbone regularly. He is a master of the jazz styles of the early 1900's He has performed with Mel Tormé, Wynton Marsalis, Dick Hyman, Bria Skonberg, Ed Polcer, Howard, Nicki Parrott and many others. He is indeed, as The Mississippi Rag calls him, “The most in demand reedman!”

Mark Shane is equally a virtuoso on the piano and regularly plays and has recorded with Grammy Winner Catherine Russell, Ken Peplowski. He is a brilliant composer, arranger, engineer and recording artist as well.

Also accompanying will be drummer Paul Wells rounding out an outstanding evening of jazz! No music charge, $25 food and drink minimum. Performance begins at 7:00. Reservations suggested.
