Exciting times! Madison’s favorite pianist, Jerry Vezza takes over our Tuesday nights! For over 35 years, Jerry has honed his incredible skills as a jazz pianist, accompanist, composer, arranger, and has performed with many of the top musicians in the world. We are proud to call him a friend and one of the myriad musicians who helped make Shanghai Jazz one of the “Top 100 Jazz Clubs in the World” (Downbeat Magazine).

Drummer, John Vourtsis has been performing on Tuesday nights for two years now and is cofounder of The Deep Grove Jazz Band.

Hal Slapin rounds out this trio on the upright bass. Hal is a Juilliard trained musician and has been accompanying bands here for many years!
