Matt King is one of the most exciting pianists in Jazz today. He has toured and recorded with Rufus Reid, Benny Golson, Billy Hart, Dave Stryker, Vic Juris, Joe Morello & Charles McPherson, Nilson Matta, Claudio Roditi, and many more. Matt won the Great American Jazz Piano Competition in 2000 and was a Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition semi-finalist with his acclaimed cd, Monk in Brazil, which we have celebrated many times over the last two years.
