Oscar Perez is an exhilarating pianist from NYC with Cuban roots and a life long passion for music. From straight ahead jazz to Cuban or New Orleans swinging tunes, he brings a ton of fun and excitement to every performance. “His training has been as diverse as his musical tastes . . . and his talent has put him on stage or in a studio with jazz legends Bunky Green, George Russell, Curtis Fuller and George Garzone trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, bassist Christian McBride, trumpeter Eddie Allen, saxophonist Mike Lee, trombonist Steve Turre, guitarist Dave Stryker, vocalists Melissa Walker and Charenee Wade along with saxophonist Adrian Cunninham with whom he has a recording entitled “Professor Cunningham and his Old School”.
Joining him this evening Tim Horner on drums and Joe Bussey on bass.
