Tim Ries is a saxophonist, performer, arranger, composer and educator who has toured and recorded with many of the biggest names in music across multiple genres. Since 1999 he has been playing with the Rolling Stones. Additionally he has performed with Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Donald Fagen, Michael Jackson, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Rod Stewart, Lyle Lovette, and jazz greats Red Garland, Donald Byrd, Hank Jones, Jack DeJohnette, Tom Harrell, Chico Hamilton, Joe Henderson, Tony Bennett, to name just a few!
Jasia Ries is quickly building an impressive repertoire as a fabulous vocalist! Jasia Ries is a singer, actress, theatre artist, and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed as a jazz and ensemble vocalist at notable venues in New York and around the tri-state area, including The Jazz Standard, The Highline Ballroom, Smalls, Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Metropolitan Room in New York as well as NJPAC in Newark and the Regatta Bar in Boston. She earned her Bachelor’s from Rutgers University and studied at the London Dramatic Academy. Jasia sings with and writes for Tim Ries’s Universal Spirits Ensemble, which unites musicians from around the globe to strengthen communities, compose original music, teach, and plant seeds of peace and unity. They have performed together for ISPA 2018 at the 92nd street Y and for Jimmy Carter during the 2016 Human Rights Defenders Forum in Atlanta.
