Jerry Vezza is a celebrated pianist and Madison, NJ local, as well as a good friend. As Jerry explains,

In 1995 I recorded my first CD..."With a Song in My Heart." Unfortunately two marvelous musicians and dear friends on that recording have left us...the great Glenn Davis, drums and Frank Vicari, sax. They were both amazing musicians and people. I miss them every day. Several months ago I received an email from a relative of Frank's asking me to put a band together to perform much of the music on that CD. I feel very fortunate to have enlisted Anton, Steve and Eliot do just that.The concert will be in Wilmington Delaware on 11/15/19 almost 24 years to the day of the second date of that recording. On Thursday night of next week, 8/22 we will be presenting the music from "With a Song in My Heart" at Shanghai Jazz. It will be a dress rehearsal but more than that a tribute to Glenn and Frank. I hope you can join us.
