Dan Levinson Trio

Among the worlds finest clarinetists, Dan Levinson is an honored member of the Shanghai Jazz Family. A true virtuoso with a clarinet, Dan plays with both Vince Giordano and Leon Redbone regularly. He is a master of the jazz styles of the early 1900's He has performed with Mel Tormé, Wynton Marsalis, Dick Hyman, Bria Skonberg, Ed Polcer, Howard, Nicki Parrott and many others. He is indeed, as The Mississippi Rag calls him, “The most in demand reedman!”

Accompanying Dan is pianist Mark Shane who regularly plays with grammy winner Catherine Russell. Mark is a spectacular musician, arranger and recording artist.

Keeping time for these two gentlemen is drummer, Kevin Dorn who has played with the likes of Gene Krupa, George Wettling and Dave Tough among his main influences, Kevins exciting career has included performances with Dan Barrett, Ed Polcer, Dick Hyman, Allan Vaché, Johnny Varro, Bob Wilber, Dan Levinson, Mark Shane, Terry Blaine, Howard Alden, Jon-Erik Kellso, and Warren Vaché. Kevin has performed with the Loren Schoenberg Big Band, Vince Giordanos Nighthawks, The Flying Neutrinos, David Ostwalds Gully Low Jazz Band, The Manhattan Rhythm Kings, Banu Gibson and the New Orleans Hot Jazz, and many others.Reservations strongly recommended.
