George Pappageorge is a blues, jazz, funk organist and piano player. First active in the early 1990’s, Pappageorge toured, recorded and co-wrote for soul singer Mighty Sam McClain and souljazz guitar legend Melvin Sparks among many others. He regularly performs at Shanghai Jazz with Blues Hall of Famer, Saron Crenshaw. Always delivering energetic performances both onstage and on over 25 recordings, Pappageorge has supported the most soulful and driven artists. 2015 introduced Pappageorge’s debut recording “Snowstorm Blues.” Pappageorge’s influences include Charles Earland, Jimmy Smith, and Junior Mance.
