"Days of Old" is by my daughter Maia who pulled it out of the air with lyrics when she was eight years old. I remembered this beautiful melody, wrote it down and got some help from my dear friend Steve Swallow who graciously contributed the harmony to this beautiful piece. I told him I have to give him co-composer credit and he refused. He said it was a gift...

"Going Up"
This song started with the first two phrases which are rising melodies. I kept that idea in mind as the rest of the song emerged.

"Blessed Babe"
Originally started decades ago to honor a friend who was responsible for organizing the adoption of our first child, it was a scrap of three and a half measures that came to light recenty. Sitting at the piano, playing it a few times, led me to create the rest in fifteen minutes.
