Emedin Rivera was born in the Bronx, raised in Puerto Rico and started playing bongos by 8 years old. He has the unique and creative ability to incorporate and blend his Latin/Caribbean/African influences into a vast array of musical styles. Emedin is also very well known for his incredible & inventive sound effects, many of which come from hand made instruments he personally created. His music can be heard on several National Geographin programs and he is endorsed by some of our favorite musicians including Karl Latham and Nick Scheuble!
