Claudio Roditi Legacy Quartet

The Claudio Roditi Legacy Quartet serves to continue the legacy of the late, great trumpeter Claudio Roditi. Claudio’s legacy is as both a trumpeter and composer, where he established himself as a transformative voice in blending his traditional music of Brazil with the Jazz tradition. All the music performed by the quartet are his originals or music that was a part of his standard repertoire.

The Claudio Roditi Legacy Quartet features the trio Claudio last performed with at Shanghai Jazz-Tomoko Ohno on piano, Grammy Winner, John Lee on bass, and Tommy Campbell on drums. Joining them is trumpeter Nathan Eklund, a long-time friend and student of Claudio’s over the past many years.

Doors open at 4:30. Seating times are 5:00-6:05 and 8:35-8:45. Respective performances begin at 7:00 and 9:05 with $5 Entertainment Fee and $40 food & drink minimum per person. Reservations strongly recommended.
