Marty Eigen – flutes

Marty and Stephen Fuller formed AMANI over five years ago. He has performed with numerous bands in the New York Metropolitan area over the last 60 years, including many appearances at Shanghai Jazz. Marty was the leader of the Beacon Hill Jazz Band for over 13 years.

Gene has performed and/or recorded with Chick Corea, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Woody Herman, Elvin Jones, Chuck Mangione, Joni Mitchell, Buddy Rich, Sonny Rollins, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, Stone Alliance, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, and others. He is currently playing his basses, producing records, and teaches at Lehigh University and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.
