Praised by JazzTimes for “superb technique” and All About Jazz for her “sheer genius” arrangements, American jazz singer, songwriter, arranger, recording artist and bandleader Corinne Mammana is passionate about preserving the music of the past while placing her own personal spin on the American Songbook, Christmas songs, and popular tunes from the past few decades. With creative arrangements sung in a sophisticated and soothing style, fans have described Mammana’s voice as a cross between Norah Jones, Julie London and Stacey Kent. She has released three albums— “Under an August Moon” (2016 EP), “Yes, No, Next” (2020), and “In the Christmas City” (2022 EP) which all received international praise. Mammana’s Christmas EP ranked in the Top 200 JazzWeek Chart and received airplay on Sirius XM’s Real Jazz Holiday.
In August 2022, Mammana was invited to headline the Northwest Jazz Festival alongside jazz icons Stacey Kent, Emmet Cohen, and the late Joey DeFrancesco. In April 2022, she brought her popular Jazzy Disney Songbook Concert to the Sellersville Theater, PA. In 2019 Mammana opened for Grammy nominated jazz singer Cyrille Aimée (Musikfest Café). In New York City, Mammana has performed at Birdland Jazz Club (Jim Caruso’s Cast Party), the Metropolitan Room and the Duplex Cabaret Theatre. She has also performed at Chrisʼ Jazz Cafe, the legendary Deer Head Inn, JazzForum’s Summer Concert Series (NY), Jazz on Main (NY), Scranton Jazz Festival, Musikfest and countless other clubs and concert halls on the East Coast.
Patrick Kerssen (piano) is a highly sought after jazz pianist and educator originally from West Milford, NJ. His first teacher was jazz pianist Mitch Schechter who Patrick often came to hear perform at Shanghai as a kid. In addition to his live performance, Patrick has appeared on recordings spanning many genres, and has had his big band compositions performed by the Moravian College BIG Band, the 4 O’ Clock Big Band at the Karel Velebny Summer Jazz Workshop in Frydlant, Czech Republic, and by the Steel Stacks High School All Star Big Band at Musikfest, PA.
Paul Rostock (bass) has appeared with many popular artists including Frank Sinatra, Michael Feinstein, Steve Tyrell, Monica Mancini, Maureen McGovern, Toni Tennille and Bobby Rydell. Jazz artists Paul has performed with include Maynard Ferguson, Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Urbie Green, Randy Brecker, Stanley Turrentine, Bob Dorough, Carl Fontana, Jon Faddis and David “Fathead” Newman. Paul also toured and recorded with the late vocalist Frank Sinatra Jr for more than three decades. Paul Rostock has served on the faculty of Moravian University since 1991 as an artist/lecturer, instructor of Double Bass and Bass Guitar and directer of jazz ensembles.
