Eric Olsen has crafted a distinguished career in both jazz and classical music, as a pianist and composer, harpsichordist, synthesist, organist, conductor, and accompanist. He has recorded twenty albums to great critical acclaim, with artists Randy Brecker, Ted Nash, George Garzone, Don Braden, Ratzo Harris, Tim Horner, Peter Olsen, Bucky Pizzarelli, Lou Caimano, Jan Carden, Kevin Maynor, and Larry Newcomb, and performed with jazz luminaries Billy Hart and Eliot Zigmund. He has appeared in concert from Carnegie Hall to Birdland, with orchestra in Taiwan, throughout the United States, and overseas in France, Germany, India, the Fiji Islands, and New Zealand. He teaches at Montclair State University and the Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts, and is Director of Music and Organist at Union Congregational Church in Montclair, NJ. Accompanying Eric this evening is the amazing bassist, Ratzo Harris. He has recorded with Mose Allison, Denny Zeitlin, Kenny Werner, Tom Rainey, Joe Lovano, Mark Feldman, Eric Friedlander, Connie Crothers, Gary Bartz, Randy Brecker, Vincent Herring, David Darling, Paul McCandless, Jane Ira Bloom, John Scofield, and Paul Motian, and performed frequently with Joe Henderson, Cal Tjader, John Handy, Charles Lloyd, Jon Hendricks, Ted Curson, Tim Berne, Betty Carter, Helen Merrill, Les Paul, Joanne Brackeen, and Jim Pepper.

He has also been active as an educator, and has taught at Purdue University, Indiana University, University of Massachusetts, Berklee College, New England Conservatory, Rotterdam Conservatory, University of Ludwigsburg, the Music High Schools of Wurztburg and Cologne, the New School for Social Research, the Manhattan School of Music and New York University.

Performances will begin at 7:00 and 9:00 with corresponding seating times at 6:00 and 8:35, $8 music charge and a $40 food & drink minimum. Reservations are always recommended.
